Boundless You

About

Your Coach Nicole Viljoen

In my personal pursuit to answer the question Why? – I have researched and studied a wide spectrum of resources and built a library of tools which I am now able to present in a way that leads clients to implement sustainable change in their lives. I utilize proven methods backed by some of the greatest minds currently exploring neuroscience, neuroplasticity, epigenetics, psychology, coaching and quantum physics.

My formal education and relevant courses include:

Bcomm Investment Management (Stellenbosch University)

Coaching (COMENSA accredited)

Unlimited (Science of Change)

I have been fascinated with the human journey of self-discovery for many years which led me to books, thought leaders and research that broadens our understanding of the human psyche to such a level that almost creates a feeling of overwhelm when we realise what our potential is and how much power we really have over our circumstances and lives. It is my absolute passion to share this knowledge and empower individuals to take action in their own lives.

Two individuals whose work greatly influences my approach with clients are Dr Joe Dispenza and Louise Hay. Dr Joe Dispenza has a unique way of “demystifying the mystical with science”, as he describes it and Louise Hay’s work offers a loving, compassionate way of approaching yourself to bring about sustainable change.

Dr Joe Dispenza:

“The first step to change is to become conscious of who you are.”

“You cannot see the way out of a challenge if you are looking at it every day from the same level of mind, emotions, thoughts, and feelings of the past”

Louise Hay:

“Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens”

“Every thought we think is creating our future.”

Why work with a Life Coach?

To some, the term life coaching may sound foreign. Let’s demystify it!

Life coaching is defined as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential” – ICF

A coach will push you to identify goals, holds you accountable and provides encouragement during your journey to become the best version of yourself. Life coaching differs from consulting, mentoring, counselling, and therapy. You can hire a coach to work with you through change, specific projects, personal goals, and transformations.

Coaching works in a structured way that serves the client’s desired outcome. The journey typically starts with identifying your vision and ideal future self after which limiting beliefs and obstacles are identified to determine why this has not been achieved yet. We will delve into your language to self, patterns, behaviours, and any other challenges that may play a role. Courageous goals, plans and strategies can now be developed to get you to that vision. Your core values will also be assessed to ensure your goals and values are in alignment and that you are on the right track.

Who is coaching for

Anyone who wants to achieve more than what they are today! Typically, coaching clients are ambitious individuals ready to bridge the gap between what they have and what they want. Not sure if this is you? Let’s do a complimentary call to determine your needs.

The greatest things in life are worth working for. Coaching requires commitment and time to ensure the results are forever.

About Coaching
According to the ICF (International Coaching Federation)

Source: https://coachingfederation.org/

The ICF defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”.

The ICF Global Coaching Client Study shows most clients reported improved work performance, greater self-confidence, enhanced relationships, more effective communications skills, better work-and-life balance and an improvement in wellness.

Coaching typically begins with a personal interview to assess the individual’s current opportunities and challenges, define the scope of the relationship, identify priorities for action and establish specific desired outcomes. Subsequent coaching sessions may be conducted in person or over the telephone, with each session lasting a previously established length of time. Between scheduled coaching sessions, the individual may be asked to complete specific actions that support the achievement of one’s personally prioritized goals. The coach may provide additional resources in the form of relevant articles, checklists, assessments or models to support the individual’s thinking and actions.

The duration of the coaching relationship varies depending on needs and preferences. For certain types of focused coaching, three to six months of working may work. For other types of coaching, people may find it beneficial to work with a coach for a longer period. Factors that may impact the length of time include: the types of goals, the ways individuals or teams prefer to work, the frequency of coaching meetings and financial resources available to support coaching.
